Our First Products!

I have added the first of our products available to purchase to Andy's Room. Most of the products we will be offering for sale will be secondhand items. We hope to have a proper shop facility up soon but for now, you will have to email me if you are interested in purchasing anything. I have given the link to my ebay feedback profile to provide references.

The products we currently have available can be found in Paradise Falls and Bug City. In Paradise Falls we have a Carl Kubrick figure set. The set includes Carl and a blue Bearbrick with the Up logo on his chest. The set is incomplete as it is missing Carl's walking stick.

Next is a "Hopper" beanie in Bug City. It is in brand new condition, complete with the original Disney store tags. If you need to see more pictures of anything, please just ask =)

Christmas Crackers!

Firstly, as you should all know, Toy Story 3 was released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK yesterday. I would have blogged about it but I was too busy watching my own copy =)

So today, I wanted to share with you a couple of the Toy Story themed Christmas products I have found in the shops here in the UK. Both the items I am writing about today I bought in Tesco.

First is a box of Christmas crackers!!! Oh how excited I am about these!! Year upon year I've hoped they would do Toy Story crackers (I love crackers and obviously love Toy Story so its a perfect combination for me) and finally, this year they have. They were pretty pricey at
£5 for a box of 6 but they are Toy Story crackers so what more could you want, right? The gifts inside actually don't look too bad either. Puzzles, stickers, yo-yo, water pistol, spinning top and a mini picture viewer seem to be among the possible options; and instead of jokes, it looks like there are Toy Story 3 trivia questions instead. Awesome. I am totally going to win when I play them with my family.

Next is a box of Christmas cards. You get 30 in the box and there are 4 different designs. They are all pretty nice and as i always forget to actually send cars once I've written them, these should last me quite some time!! The cards were also included in the 3 for 2 offer they had on (alas, the crackers were not).

You could also get Toy Story themed "Sweet" gifts in there such as a mug shaped like Buzz's head filled with marshmallows, some little chocolates and various other things. I'll try and do pics of them another time. You can also get Toy Story Christmas cards in Sainsburys which I believe are in their 3 for 2 offer as well. Again, I'll try and get some pics of those soon.

Oh, and for anyone who is interested, the Woody figure in the pictures is a Revoltech Woody. He comes with interchangeable hands and faces and things and is really poseable. I love him =)

Its Woody!

So ever since my nephew was born, I have been giving him as much Toy Story related stuff as I possibly can to make sure he loves it as much as I do. He knew who Buzz and Woody were before he could talk =)

Well, it was his 3rd birthday a couple of weeks ago and it had a bit of a Toy Story theme. In the morning his parents gave him a Buzz Lightyear which he carried around with him all day; and in the afternoon, I gave him a Woody and made a couple of videos of him opening it. He is hilarious with them so make sure you check them out.

He also had Toy Story cards, paper plates, napkins etc. as well as a cake shaped like a Sheriff badge like Woody's =) You'll also notice his Lightning McQueen shirt. As well as Toy Story, he is Cars obsessed too. He's my little Pixar boy. I'm so proud ^___^

Wall-E and Pearl

So to begin this blog, I thought I'd start by sharing the two latest toy additions to my Pixar collection.

First up is my newest Wall-E figure. I picked him up in TK Maxx for £3.99. He comes with two little cubes of rubbish which you can put in the front of him and then there is a lever on the back that you push and they come flying out. He's a really nice size and on the packaging it suggested putting play doh in there and making cubes of rubbish. I haven't tried it yet but I will do soon =)

Next up is my first Finding Nemo McDonald's toy. Its Pearl, Nemo's little octopus friend. She has two little sensor things on the bottom so that when you place her on your hand, she lights up. Or, you can just push her ear (?) down and she lights up too (see photo). I got her at a car boot sale for 20p. Bargain!
